Going after our dreams

It's been a long time since I have written a piece and I have always promised that I would come back and revisit the open space and get back into my writing, but I have been so busy living I haven't created the time to actually sit and write about my thoughts, but so much has been going on I think now is an appropriate time to jot down some things and share it with the people. So first of all when I was thinking about writing this blog I had already woke up this morning with things on the soul about change and how to adapt to things when you may not have the resources you need to excel or do the things you need to do. Then I started to think about all the people that I listen to on a daily basis that really are out there and need that one opportunity whether its a job or business or venture or anything people are really without jobs out here and that is really a shame. Then we get the news that the man who basically changed all of our lives by inventing man made convenience at our fingertips and creating a cult....culture of geeks like myself and changed the way we do EVERYTHING around us. There will never be another Steve Jobs ever because we were following him with the next innovative idea. So we wonder now what will we do? Where will we get that next idea? I am sure that Mr. Jobs being as brilliant as he was with his unfortunate circumstance prepped his other geniuses on the blueprint on how to run this multi-biillion dollar entity he created. Which leads me to why I am writing this....at what point do you start being great? I think greatness starts with whatever legacy you wish to leave behind and it all starts with a dream. It all starts with that one thing that we say that we want to do and we stick with it until we can be that whatever that is. All my life I knew that I wanted to do music and who knew the journey that it would take me to just because I just stuck with it. What if Steve Job didn't stick to his dream and didn't eat tuna fish sandwiches with Bill Gates and create personal computers...where would we be? I say that whatever it is you like? you will be most passionate about. If you like it you can turn it into profit so why not go after your dreams. Be what you dream and seek what consumes your mind. A person who can not see through your eyes will tell you that you can not, but remember they can not see what you are seeing so what your belief is will not be theirs. Stick to your beliefs, stay with your passion, keep believing when noone else does and your dreams will come true. Thats what greatness to me is. Building a legacy for people to be able to improve quality of life. When I first started making music I made it for me. I was making it just to see what I could do. Now? I want to create jobs and help people succeed so my motive has become enormous. The moral of this story is go after your dreams. Your dream is the reality that action hasn't been added to yet. So whatever we act upon we can make a reality as long as we believe we can succeed and achieve!
